Structural Steel Erection Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in structural steel erection to oversee field operations from project award through completion. This role focuses on managing erection crews, coordinating with general contractors, and ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Manage structural steel erection projects from kickoff through closeout

Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, and field crews

Develop and track project schedules and manpower plans

Manage budgets, costs, change orders, and billing

Communicate with general contractors, inspectors, and vendors

Review erection drawings and project specifications

Support field safety and quality control efforts

Resolve field issues and maintain project documentation

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in structural steel erection project management

Strong understanding of field operations, rigging, and sequencing

Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and erection plans

Experience managing crews, schedules, and job costs

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with crane planning and coordination

Familiarity with Bluebeam, Trimble, or similar construction software
